📖 Everyone an Expositor: Conference & Workshop – February 20-21, 2026

Lord willing, the Community Baptist Church, Devine, TX, will be hosting a local 2-Day hands-on conference and workshop called “Everyone an Expositor.”

🔎 What is a Bible Expositor or Biblical Exposition? In short- it's simply "letting the text talk" - It's teaching and explaining Bible passages verse-by-verse, letting God’s Word speak for itself, so believers can understand, apply, and live it out in daily life. This is a critical skill for each believer. 

⚠️ Unfortunately, we live in a time when sound, expository teaching/preaching of God’s Word is increasingly rare and in many places even discouraged. Many hear scripture used out of context, recklessly thrown together, or reduced to slogans, tips, or shallow encouragements—but the life-changing power of the Word comes when it is rightly divided and fully explained (2 Tim. 2:15).

➡️ We believe every believer can—and should—learn to study, understand, and apply scripture, whether in personal devotion, family worship, or public ministry. This is why, Lord willing, we will be hosting what we have entitled as the Everyone an Expositor Conference. We pray this conference will encourage and exhort fellow believers in their relationship with God through the faithful study of His Word.

➡️ Exposition is not just for pastors or preachers; it is for every believer who desires growth in Christ. May we all return to the faithful, careful teaching of God’s Word, that it may transform our lives and families.
